Monthly Archives: December 2015

“You saw me before I was born.

Everyday of my life was recorded in your book.

Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” Psalms 139:16 NLT

Some persons spend the 31st of every December making resolutions, while others visit churches to pray their way into a new year because everyone wants to be better than they were that year.

While some persons embrace the reality of a new year, others are stuck in the misfortune that befell them the past year. In this post I’ll be showing you the opportunities a new year presents and how to take advantage of them, but firstly let’s take a look at the bible verse above:

FIRST LINE: “You saw me before I was born.” God saw you before you came into earth. He is aware that you’re here. He is not ignorant of your existence. You are not a mistake.

SECOND LINE: “Everyday of my life was recorded in your book.” God has designed how you should live your life. He designed that you should be successful, brave, healthy, lovable and happy. So by implication, the live you are living is actually God’s past. This is wonderful. You a character in a heavenly book and God has designed you to be the good guy.

THIRD LINE: “Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” A moment is a very short spaces of time. The time between when you entered the supermarket and when you come out is a market. God is interested in everything you do each moment. I love this! If for instance, there are twenty moments of your life in an hour, God is interested in all of them.

Each year is a chapter in God’s book. You can choose to live according to His divine and beautiful arrangement or according to how the WORLD wants it. I advice you to follow the first.

The powers of a new year that I will be showing you are;

Because of Christmas

Faith overcame fear

Healing swallowed sickness

For ashes, beauty was given

Because of Christmas

A virgin became a mother

The barren are declared fruitful

Laughter took the place of sorrow

Because of Christmas

 The blind, now see

The poor are made rich

The lost, are found

Because of Christmas

The dead are made alive

The weak are made strong

And the broken heart, found love

Jesus swaddled in manger

The creator lay in a manger
The hands that would heal the sick
The legs that would work on water
The eyes that all men would desire to see
The mouth that would speak spirit and life
Wrapped in the Holy cold night

The head that would wear a crown of thorn
The legs that would be nailed
The hands that would be pinned
To a wooden cross
The body that would be flogged and pierced
Laid beautifully in a manger

In that baby
Was a being that would enter hell
To collect the key of death and grave
And lead thousands of captives to glory
Now he lives in all who believe in him
Yet, He slept in a manger
